Rupert Officers See Foul Play In Man's Death RUPERT (AP)--The body of a man identified as Joe Setters, about 76, was found Saturday under a porch of the Max Haden- feli bean house. Sheriff Ron Hawkes said Nick Lappes. Union Pacific railroad section foreman, made the discovery. IDENTIFICATION' was made from papers found on the body. These also revealed lie had been receiving unemployment compensation from the 1'ocatcUo office ol the Idaho state employment service. The sheriff said the man's jaw had been broken and other bruises were noted. A local physician and Minidoka County Coroner Alan Goodman examined the body and could find, no oi-her possible causa of death. Coroner Goodman estimated the man couldn't have been under the porch any longer than a few hours. Sheriff Hawkes said evidence indicated a struggle and that the dead man may have been dragged to the .place he was found. Footprints on each side of the man's head indicated someone had stood over him, the sheriff added. DR. J. WOODSON CREED, Twin Falls pathologist, has been called io make a further check, Coroner Goodman said. No money was found on the budy, the sheriff 'explained, hinting a possible robbery motive in the suspected slaying.
