on a the A. 3 Democratic Contest Shapes Up for Clerk of Court Nomination JEFFERSON - Two Jefferson County Democrats announced today today they will seek nomination for clerk of Circuit Court in the September September primary election. They are Alfred E. Robbins Sr., Watertown area resident, and Donald J. Nevins, Jefferson. Robbins owns a farm near Watertown Watertown and is employed at Brandt's Automatic Cashier, Watertown. Watertown. He has served as secretary-treasurer secretary-treasurer of the countj' Democratic Democratic party for several years and is now treasurer. Robbins is steward and a trustee trustee of Machinists Union Local 1367. He is also a trustee of the Central Labor Council of Watertown Watertown and chairman of delegates of District 48 at Waukesha. Robbins is married and has four children. Nevins, 30-is the son of the late William H. Nevins, who served as Jefferson County treasurer for 14 consecutive years. After graduation from Jefferson Jefferson High School in 1946, Nevins enlisted in the Army and served in Japan for a year. He has been active in the Central Wisconsin Baseball League as player, man- W4 ALFRED E. ROBfelNS ager and officer and is now serving serving his second year as secretary of the league. Nevins has operated the General General Insurance Agency, representing representing 11 stock and mutual insurance insurance companies, for several years. He is married to the former Jane DONALD J.
