Bunnel-Luerlke (Hpf 'iul Ui The KeRt &ter) Mr. and Mrs. G. H Bunnel of Colony, announce the marriage of 'heir daughter, Helen Louise, to Kenneth Luedke, son of Mr. and Mrs: Charles Luedke, also of Colony, Sunday evening July 21 at the home of the bride's parents. The Rev. I. L. Neuenswonder of Lawreme, Kas., read the service. The bride chose a street' length dress of white jerfey with matc'uny accessories. Her ccrsage was of lavender lavender asters. Her only jewelry was a small locket. The groom wore a brown suit. Mr. and Mrs. Luedke are at home to their friends on a farm west of Co'ony. Mrs Luedke is a graduate of tlv Colony high school and of the lola jtJiior college. She his taiinh*. several., several., years in the Colon/ grade school Sne Ls prominent in church work where she gives freely of her mu>ic talent. Mr. Luedke graduated from th:Colony th:Colony h 'gh school before entering the a = r corps where he became a lieutenant. He served in the So-j 'h Pacific and holds the Purple Heart He received his discharge this spring and is now engaged in farming. He is popular with the young people
