Call Witnesses In Treharne Case (Related News on Paee 2) j Bv United Press AUSTIN, June 8.—Gubpenas were issued today to more than 25 per sons, including State Senator William William T. Moore of Bryan, to appear as witnesses in perjury trials four insurance company officials. Those subpenaed were summonec lo appear in 98th District Court at Austin 9 a. m. Monday. Return Indictments Criminal indictments were -„ .urned by a Travis County grand jury May 27 against Paul Lowry, Lieslie Lowry and D. H. O'Fiel, all of Beaumont, and Spencer S. Treharne Treharne of El Paso and Ruidoso, N. M. Two indictments were returned against each alleging perjury. In addition an indictment charging a false statement also was returned against Paul Lowry. The Lowry brothers wore co-operators co-operators of the defunct Texas Mutual Insurance Co. O'Fiel is a Beaumont attorney. Treharne was operator of :he defunct El Paso Insurance firm, United Lloyd's. Set for Call Long said the cases were set for call Thursday, and that trial of those defendants not pleading guilty are set for Monday.
