DELHI TOWKSHIP. The contest In Delhi Township brought out the largest vote ever polled in th history history of the township. There were two ticket ticket In the field. The Otlsens ticket waa made up of John Wentsel for Trustee, John Kries for Treasurer, and James B. Matson for Justice of th Peace. ' The People's ticket Included ' Peter Hensler for Trustee. Henry C. Beekley for Treasurer, and John Grim for Justice of the Peace. The election resulted In a victory for Beekley and Hensler. Hensler. of the People's ticket, and Matson. of tbe Citizens'. Both Wentsel and Krels hare held tha office office of Trustee and Treasurer for a number number of years, and their defeat was a great surprise to many. Hensler s majority over Wentsel ts 75.
