Sim Montgomery, president ot the club, presided, and the speaker was presented by Francis Manning, city counsellor, chairman ol the projram committee. The olub also heard from Prof. H. B. Allan, member of the faculty of Bhurtleft College, an announce- meBt regarding the course in pub- 110 speaking to be given at the Y, M. 0. A. In Alton. The course will be open to the publlo and the Y. M. C. A. will pay the tuition, All«n said.
