'77» Chechahcos' At last a motion picture that out of the rut, that has new face; and proves that there really is thing new under the sun. Some our .self-admitted big directors of Hollywood should take the lesson "The Chechahcos" to heart Last night at the Antlers this production, the f i r s t ever actually made Alaska, was unfolded for the first time locally, and sent the audience with the -pell of it's stupendous grandeur and awcsomcncss still gripping them. The cast is a treat to movie patrons tired of looking the same old faces wcclc in and out. And here again the clement "rcalncss" enters in for the masterly technique lhat comes only from experience on the speaking stage The absence of posing so often in players having cinema experience alone, is noticeable. Eva Gordon, t h e leading woman, gives a p and natural i n t e r p r e t a t mother role, ll is easy to understand the tremendous snece-s she scored with the Danish Players of Copenhagen Copenhagen during the recent triumphal tour of the country It is undcistood she will remain in pictures and it can truly be said that she is a desirable acquisition. "The Chechahcos" will be shown again today.
