In the Circuit Court for Caroline county. In Equity. Tlio object of this suit is to procure a de- crco divorcing a cincnlo mairlmonii Cnarlei H. Blackiston from his wife, Laura E. llluckiston. The bill states that on the 25th day of November, 1880, the said Charles "II. Blaekistou intermarried with one Laura E. Roe, of Caroline county, the m«rri«goccremony being performed at Shop ard's Church, by the Rev. John E. Smith; that at the time of said marriage and for several years thereafter tie said Charles II. HhickUtun believed the said Laura to be a chaste mid reputable woman ; that the said Cliurles II. Blaekiston always conducted liimsi'lf in a proper and upright nmnnnrmid fulfilled all his duties a= husband to the said Laura; that on the Ud dny of April, 1889, the said Laura left the sji'd Charles H. Blackiston, her husband, nnd eloped with one Emmett Downes and, the ?aid Charles H. Blackiston is informed and believe*, is now residing and cohabit- ting with the said Emmett Downe? as his wife; that the said Laura nnd theiid Emmett arc, as tho said Charles H.
