Skiles, 44, a native of the county, died at .his home, 316 Maple Street, Saturday at 10:15-.p. m., following a long illness. Funeral Funeral services.were to be at 2:30 p. m. Monday in the First Christian Church, conducted by the pastor. Rev. R. R. Yelderman. A military funeral was to be held in the I. O. O. F. cemetery, with pallbearers members of the American Legion post, as follows: John Clark, Jim Parks. Guy .Turner. L. H. Ligon, W. E. Lanford, T. G. Skiles, Dr. Skiles was a veteran of the World War. having served as a corporal in the 36lh division. He was discharged discharged June 11, 1919. He was born at Stony, Jan. 20, 1894, and was married to Miss Cora Springer in Denton Jan. 19. 1934. His wife, his mother, Mrs. Emma-C. Skiles, and a sister. Mrs. B. D. GammHl, all of Denton, survive. He was a member of the First Christian Church, and of the local American Legion post.
