Anesthetists Here to Form Assembly Nurse anesthetists representing Colorado, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Kansas met Saturday in the Warren Hotel to take the necessary step toward organizing a<n assembly of these four states. Chuck Belote, Lawrence, : called the meeting and presided as temporary chairman. The purpose of the assembly will be to bring institutes and educational programs within the reach of every registered nurse anesthetist within this four state area. Other nurse anesthetists present Werfc Lucille Sullivan, Denver, secretary-treasurer of the Colorado Association of Nurse Anesthetists; Mary Hamilton, Omaha, president of the Nebraska Association; Mrs. Parksine Gibbs, Oklahoma City, president of the Oklahoma Association; Dorothy L. Pitzer, Oklahoma City, and Margaret Reimer, Garden City, secretary-treasurer of the Kansas Association. Rules regarding this four state assembly were drawn. The president of each state will present them to each member in the state. When all four states have approved them, the rules will be sent to the national association of nurse anesthetists in Chicago, 111. for approval. When approved by the national organization, delegates from these four states will meet again and organize.
