HOWARD STANTON RUBIN Was Rozanne Halfant Miss Rozanne Halfant, daughter of Mr. anu Mrs. Seymour Halfant of Galveston, became the bride of Howard Stanton Rubin, ion of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred L. Rubin of Houston. Sunday at Congregation Beth Jacob. Rabbi William S. Malev and Rabbi Louis Feigon officiated. Given in marriage by her lather, the bride wore a formal gown of ivory peau de sole designed by Friscilla of Boston. The gown featured a high neckline and long sleeves overlaid with, pearl encrusted Alencon lace. The A - line skirt was appliqued with motifs of the lace and into a chapel length train. Her mantilla of matching lace flowed to waist length. She carried a soft cascade of white sweetheart roses and stephanotis. Miss Linda Wexlcr of Houston was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Misses Renee Rubin of Houston. Andrea Kay of Galveston, Galveston, Mrs. Joel Florstieim of Waco, .Mrs. Jerry Halfant of Pasadena, and Mrs. Stuart Miller of Universal City. Kerri Ann Halfant, niece of the bride, was flower girl. The groom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Robert Rubin, Mervin Kamin, David Solomon, Dean Solomon, and Zane Segal, all of Houston. Lee Framcr and Harris Nussen- blatt of Houston and Rick Jacob! and Alan Nussenblatt of Galveston Galveston served as ushers. Members of the houseparty were Misses Louis Kamin and Nancy Solomon of Houston, Dorene Reinhardt of Arlington, and Mrs. Ken Sheffield of Nacogdoches. The bride, who received her B.A. degree in Mathematics from the University of Texas, be teaching at Ball High School. The groom, who attended Tulane University, is presently in his junior year at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galvcs- ton. Following a wedding trip to Vegas and San Francisco, the couple will make their home in Galveslon.
