MRS. CAROLINE CAROLINE DIETZ DIES ^ AT AGE OF 70 Had Bean Ailing For Few Years—She Wat Born In Germany and Came Here In 1898. Mjrfl. Caroline Delt«, 70 years old, died this morning at 4:26 o'clock, following a long illness. Mrs. Deltz had been ailing for the past few years Vut had been bedfast for the past two weeks; Mrs. Delta was born en September 31,. 1848, in Germany, and came to this .country in April of 1868, coming to Alton immediately and had resided! in: the-house In which she died for 49 year*- She bad beau a widow for 32 years. She leaves six children, Mrs. Caroline Caroline Pingarhut, Mrs, Louisa Fischer, Mrs, Roaina Spanlol. Mrs. Augusta Kleram and William and Charles Diet*. She leaves also one brother, Fred GoodPke of fiarroMon, Mo., to sister, Mrs, Minnie Deftner of Blackwall, Blackwall, OWa,, and fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The funeral will bo held from the home of her daufftter Mrs. Spanlol, 514 Central Avenue, at 8 p. m,, Monday. Monday. Funeral services will be conducted conducted by Rev. 0. W.
