FRASE OF TAYLOR MISSES NO-HITTER UPLAND, Ind.. May 19.—(API- Wayne Frase of Taylor came within a shortstop's stumble of pitching a no-hit no-run game today today as the Trojans beat Hanover, 4 to 1. In the fourth inning Ed Orrill of Hanover hit a ball toward short, and the Taylor infielder twisted his ankle going after it. The ball went for a hit, scoring- a man who had got on by an error and moved to second on a fielder's choice. Frase walked four and struck out 15. His battery mate, Cofield, hit a home run in the fourth. Earlier in the season, Frase pitched a no-hit no-run game for 10 innings and lost in the eleventh. Clubs— • R. H. E.
