Adolph Lemke Dies Tuesday Adolph (Ben) Lemke, 55, former Ludington resident, was dead on arrival Tuesday at a Las Vegas, Nev., hospital following an automobile accident. Mr. Lemke was born Jan. 14, 1909 in Detroit, moved when a boy to Fenton where he attended school. He came to Ludington in 1930 and was employed in Pere Marquelte freight shed and aboard carferries. He returned in 1939 to Detroit where he worked as a truck driver. Surviving are two sons Clyde and Russell of Ludington; seven grandchildren; his father Adolph B. Lemke Sr. of Detroit; three brothers Clyde of Utica, John and Edward of Detroit and a sister Mrs. James (Wilma) Bowen of Fenton. He was preceded in death by a daughter Marjorie Jean, his mother and a brother Harold. The body is at Dorrell Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
