Shook, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Noah Shook She was born on a farm at Bloomfield, Ind.; and was an only child of her parents. Her father, a farmer and music teacher, died when she was three .weeks old. At the age of 19 years, she came with her mother to Ohio to reside with the latter'* brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Wingate, both of whom taught school in Bowerston. Mrs Riordan secured a position as a saleswoman in w. B. Penn's gen- eral store. When Mr. moved w . Wingate yers ago ' attendants were Mr' nance work as a railroad. He retired ll years ago after 53 years of service. Mr. and Mrs. Riordan are the parents of three children. They are Mrs. Carl Betteker of Navarre Mrs. Walter Dunn of Massillon and Clement Riordan, who lives at home and is the third generation of his family great-grandchild. a l Mr. and Mrs. Riordan. * * * 'MR. RIORDAN, one of 11 children children of the late Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Riordan, is a native of a redencksburg. He came, with'his parents to Beach:'City, in 1883'-and has resided in the.community since that time.
