A S10,000 Robbery Nine Years Old Revealed. Nine years ago last November, Henry Daley, of CarlinviUe, Macoupin county, lost from his pocket, while passing from a hotel to a bant of that town, his pocketbook, containing $10,500. Upon reaching the bank he discovered the loss and immediately retraced his steps, but failed to find the pocket-book or the large sum of money it contained. The question as to who got the money remained a mystery until recently, when a son and daughter-in-law of George W. Myers, then a prosperous farmer, residing near Girard, Macoupin county, divulged that said Geo W. Myers and two of his sons, Isaac and William Myers, who happened in Carlinville the day that Daley lost the money and passed along a short distance behind him, picked up the pocketbook and its precious contents. George Myers and Isaac and William soon after removed to Missouri and located on a farm in Lewis county, near Monticello. On Friday Deputy Sheriff Castello, of Macoupin county, and Mr. Daley passed through Jacksonville en route for Carlinville, having the ihree Myers in custody and ironed, having arrested them upon a, requisition from jovernor Beveridge at their home in Lewis county. The question of what became of Daley's money would have, perhaps, forever remained a mystery had not the old man Myers quarreled with the son aud daughter- in-law, who, impelled by spite, revealed the 'acts in the case.
