Farewell Parties For Mrs. McCain Mrs. O. H. McCain, who is moving moving to Jefferson the last of the month, was given two farewell courtesies during the weck-fnd. The McCains are building a new home at 608 South Locust, Jeffer- son - j Mrs. L. W. Wilke and Mrs. E. R. Anderson entertained eight guests' at canasta in Mrs. Wilke's home Thursday night. Mrs. John Stain- meyer won the high score prize! and Mrs. R. D. McCord. low. The! hostesses presented Mrs. McCain with a gift. ! Lunch was served after the games and fall colors were used in the table appointments. * * * Another courtesy was a no-hostess no-hostess dinner of the Ellerbroek store force at the Brown Derby. Mrs. P. R. Keith presented Mrs. McCain with a gift. Mr and Mrs . McCain have lived Carroll six and one-half years. Mrs. McCain has been in charge of the alteration department of El- lerbroek's ready-to-wear store nearly five years.
