Dylan Thomas Play Scheduled For Production At Lee College Oct. 21 "Under Milkwood", the )ylan Thomas prowl of an rish fishing village, is in rehearsal rehearsal at Lee College under the direction of Thurman Rowlett Jr. Slated to run Oct. 21,22 and 23 in the Rundall Hall auditorium auditorium at Lee College, tickets will be |2 or a Lee College student identification card. Ten actors portray over 60 persons in the drama which was originally written for British Broadcasting Corp. radio and usually staged as readers' theater. Rowlett has adapted the play to include brief scenes from the poet's last hours in New York City before his collapse collapse and death. Dylan called "Under Milk Wood", a "play for voices", and it was first produced in New York after a series of tryouts with Dylan himself directing and reading several several parts. Mike Morris plays Dylan Thomas while Tommy Reagan Reagan is his alter ego. Morris has played in several Lee College dramas, at Sam Houston State University and the Baytown Little Theater. Reagan won best supporting supporting actor award for his role in "Arms and the Man" at Lee College last season. Gary Morrow plays Mog Edwards. Tim Stone, who was named best actor at the college last year for "Star Spangled Girl", "Arms and the Man" and "Once Upon A Mattress'', will be Mr. Waldo Waldo . New to the college theater theater is Cecil Turner who played played in a "Different Drummer" Drummer" at Lee High School and in a workshop production at Sam Houston State University. University.
