Goose Creek Girl Scouts Slate Christmas Luncheon The Goose Creek Neighborhood Neighborhood Girl Scout leaders will hold their annual Christmas Luncheon Dec. 13 at Youngblood's Youngblood's Restaurant. Ten new leaders were invested invested at the last neighborhood meeting by Mrs. J. Carpenter, neighborhood chairman. They are Mrs. R. Byers, Mrs. J. Hilliard. Mrs. T. Ayers, Mrs. V. Romeo, Mrs. R. Muckleory, Mrs. J. Moore, Mrs. L. Stasney, Mrs. M. Tucker, Mrs. K. Burris, and Mrs. M. Kessler. Mrs. J. D. Gilchrisl was appointed neighborhood cookie chairman. Saturday a neighborhood Song-A-Rama, led by the Senior Scouts, was held in Roseland Park. Their purpose was to teach Scout songs to the troops. Three troops have met the qualifications for membership Humble Bridge Winners Named Mrs. B. E. Wilson and Mrs. James Harrop won the open pairs Humble duplicate ciub championship Monday night in the tournament held at the Community Building. There were ten tables in play. Jack Furbec directed the game Other winners wore Mrs. Fret Hartman and Mrs. James Brydcn, second, and Mrs. A. D Anthony and Mrs. E. J. Gray, third. The final game this year wit be a master point game at 7:15 p.m. Dec. 9 at the Community Building. A trophy was awarded the winning team. n the Piper Club. They are Troops 1700, 590, and 1582. Troop 1582 will invest 21 giris this month. The patrol leaders are Lisa Tack and Kay Adcock. ,'indy Crow is treasurer and Debbie Sieber the secretary. The "Snoopy Patrol" will start a troop newspaper. Santa sacks will be given to a worthy organization. organization. At their last meet- ng in December, Troop 1582 will join Troop 1700 to go Christinas caroling and have a weiner roast. Two troops have gone on field trips. Troop 158-4 visited the police station and Troop 940 explored the Baylown tunnel. Troop 1559 will hold their Christmas party on Dec. 14, at the home of Mrs. Doyle Creekmore. Creekmore. Seventh grade girls from Troop 590 were hostesses for a Thanksgiving Tea for the mothers mothers at the Ashbel - Smith Scout House. Cindy Schulze and Shar on Barth were co-chairmen Seven girls received pins for completing the Emergency Preparedness Preparedness Challenge. They entertained Monks residents by singing Girl Scou songs, The Ashbel-Smilh Dad's Club will hold a Father and Daugh tcr box supper at 8:30 p.m. Dec. 3, in the Second Bapuc Church Activity building.
