Carl was fortunate to bring back a deer. Wilson Snyder, Catawba Island fire chief, was elected president of the Ottawa-co Firemen's Association at a meeting held recently in Genoa. Mr. and Mrs. George Oravec were recent Chicago visitors. Mr. and Mrs.. Bert Alexander, Catawba Cliffs, are spending the holiday season in Daytona Beach. Fla. They will visit other points of interest also. Edward Rhodes has been released from Magruder Hospital and is convalescing at his home. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Steffens have left to spend the winter in the south, the place as yet indefinite. Mr. and Mrs. James Peltier and family and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Owen and family attended the Northern Ohio Telephone Co Christmas party and potluek supper at the Port Clinton office Santa Claus was in charge of the gift exchange.
