J 7—</P>—Dr. l/"dioy Barber said he expected tJie eventual recovery of Mrs. Rara Oberle, who attempted suicide aftiT beating her, three children to death. Dr. Barber, who discovered UK- tragedy Wednesday, sold tho mother apparently wan denniged from fear of ill health, and that she slashed her throat uml'abdornen and twisted a wire around her ruck in an attempt to take her own life. The children, Mary JT; Joseph,Jr., 9, and Louise, 7, were found dead in their beds, beaten with an iron bar. Dr. Barber came, to th« house in response ti a telephone call from Mrs. Oberle in which she said "come right away. I've just killed them." The husband and father, Joseph Oberle, head of the Chester county Farm Extension association, was on a business trip to State College. His father, George W.
