Melvin Ornburn visit enroute to New York
her the Ornburns Gather Here Chaplain and Mrs. Frank Melvin Ornburn and family have been visiting his parents, Mr, and Mrs. W.C. Ornburn, 1348 Watson, this past week. The Ornburns are enroute to New York, where he will receive orders to go to Germany. While in Moberly they visited in the home of his brother, I.loyd; sister, Mrs. Floyd Turner, and another sister, Mrs. tewis Williams. He also visited his grandfather, F.M. Cobb, in the home of his aunt, Mrs. Kugene Hines. Chaplain Ornburn was also guest speaker at the Carpenter Street Baptist Church Sunday night. Ornburn has been in Ft. Hood, Tex., the past three years after spending a year in Vietnam. Enroute to New York, he will visit his twin brother, James Marvin Ornburn, who lives in Paltenburg, N.J. It is thought the F.M. Ornburn family will be in Germany three years. A family dinner was held Sunday in the home of Mr. Mrs. W.C. Ornburn with the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Ornburn, Mr. and Mrs. Frank M. Buddy, Kim and Ted, Mr. Mrs. Uoyd Ornburn, Gary and Kristee; Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Williams, Barbara, Jeff and Nancy; Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Turner, Alfred, Brenda,Carl and Cristal, all of Moberly; Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Ornburn Jr., St. Joseph, and Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Conrad, Kansas City.
