Irvin Prater funeral
Irvin Prater Riies Saturday Irvin Prater, 58, farmer, na tive of Dawson, died in Memorial Hospital Thursday fol lowing a stroke several weeks ago. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. from the First Baptist church in Dawson with burial in the Dawson cemetery. The rites will be conducted by Rev. Fred Chapman of Midlothian, who recently resigned as pastor of this church, assisted by Rev. Robert Sanders, pastor of the Dawson Methodist church. Surviving are his wife of Dawson; a daughter, Mrs. Bob bie Almond, Dallas; two brothers, Chester Prater, Dawson, and Lloyd Prater, Roswell, N. M.; three sisters, Mrs. Zola McCulloch, Waco; Mrs. Thelma Adams and Mrs. Bummie Me Reynolds, both of Corsicana, and other relatives. Pallbearers will be Dan Grif fin, Charlie Fondren, J. R. Rogers. Clyde Roloff, Harold Pitts and H. H. Houck. Eubanks Funeral Home directs.
