Boy, 12, Loses Life in a Tavern Fire' Son of Operator Apparently Dies in Sleep. KANSAS CITY, April 11. </T)—A 12-jrear-old boy lost his ilife today ;.. a lira cnat destroyed the Green Hi!fe club in Platte County near Parkville. The young victim, who had beer, h jlping his father clean the two- story colonial style structure, was Dolby B. Laswcll. His father, Them C. Laswell, cooperator of the club, a tavern, said the boy went to sleep while he went 'to a restaurant to get a sandwich. Less than an hour later he returned to find the building in flames. Green Hills once was a notorious gambling spot.
