Manning of the Woman's club welfare committee, which is performing the task of distribution for the local relief organization. Mrs. Manning advUed that the relief committee was doing all In Its power to Investigate cases of applications for aid-to determine whether or not they were worthy. , At the same time she discounted the usual rumors that help was being wasted on families who did not require It.
