the of D. Mrs. Mrs. Tankersley APPALACHIA, Va.-- Mrs Edith Tankersley, 49, Appalachia, died at 12:07 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Hospital, Norton. She suffered a stroke Friday morning. She is survived by her husband, Howard E. Appalachia; three Tankersley, sons, Allen and Sam Tankersley, both of Appalachia and Ralph Tankersley, Alamogordo, N. Mex.; daughter. Miss Pauline Forbes, Appalachia; her mother, Mrs. Lulu Miller, Big Stone Gap; brother, Theodore Miller, Midland, Tex.; six sisters, Mrs. Nora Rhymer. Galloway, Ky.; Mrs. Virginia Crawford, New Castle, Ind.; Mrs. Nellie Stines, Inman, Va.; Mrs. Millie Maxfield, Big Stone Gap; Mrs. Helen Dotson and Mrs. Hazel Marion, both of Peking, Ind. and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in chapel of Roy A. Greene Funeral Home. Rev. R. Gleaves Farmer and Rev. Lenwood Nichols will officiate. The body will remain at funeral home.
