Legion Auxiliary ELEANORE OGLE The American Legion Auxiliary was organized for the purpose of participating in and contributing to the accomplishment of the aims and purposes of the American Legion; to foster and perpetuate a 100 per cent Americanism, working in the Girls State program, the Americanism essay contest program, the beauty contest, etc. "We contribute to the Sub for Santa, aid in welfare for veterans and their families through our Poppy Program, and honor our mothers who have lost sons in the wars through our Gold Star Mothers Program," said Eleanore Ogle, president.
