Marvin Lee and E. A. Taylor of the city fire department were present. Lieutenant Lee gave a talk and told us how to prevent fires. A record time of one minute was all that was needed to empty the building. Donna Yates adds: 7Tie boys' culb held another meeting on Thursday to discuss fire prevention. Mr. William M. Limb was the principal speaker. Columbus day was celebrated throughout the school. Ila May Lawson says room 12 children gave talks for oral English and songs about Columbus were sung. All the articulating unit children had programs and appropriate stories and exercises were held in the lower grades.
