Couple Is Wed in Simple Church Rites The First Baptist church of Ukiah was the setting for the recent rites which united Virginia Thomas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Thomas of Arcadia, and Joseph H. Thompson, son of Mrs. Doris Thompson of Covclo. The Rev. Leonard G. Brown officiated at the double ring ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a gown of nylon tulle and lace over taffeta. A heart-shaped net and tull» headpiece held the fingertip veil. Her bouquet was of white stock blossoms. Gertrt'de Holabird served as the matron of honor. Edmund Grosch of Covelo was best man and ushers were Robert Thomas, brother of the bride, and Leonard Pimbiett. Myrtle Holabird was the candle- lighter and Jean Scott the wedding soloist. Following the ceremony « reception wis held in the parlor of the church.
