Rex Boyd, office engineer for the Corps of Engineers, will discuss the progress of the work at the Sam Rayburn dam site and show slides illustrating what has been accomplished. Boyd is a mathematician by training, with graduate work at HardiniSimmons university and the University of Texas. He has been with the Corps of Engineers for five years, of which three and one-half years has been at the McGee Bend resident office as office engineer. Social hour will be held at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7 at the Ramada Inn in Beaumont on Monday.
