PLUlEtnUSPECTlOT El Paso Police Take I. Garza od Globe Instructions El Paso, Aug. 24. Suspected of th3 murder of Sam Plunkett and E. A. Kennedy at Globe, Ariz., on July 12 last, Irineo Garza was arrested last night by Captain Mitchell on the request of the Globe authorities, who have offered a large reward for the capture of the murderers. Garza was placed in the city jail and was docketed as a suspicious character. The Globe authorities wre notified. Tho murder was one of the foulest in the history of Arizona. Robbery was the suspected motive. The crime was committed on the ranch of Sara Plunkett, about a mile east of the mouth of Pinto Creek. There were evidences of an awful struggle for life, and Plunkett's body bore a dozen stab wounds, and his head was mashed In as if by a blow of some blunt instrument. The body of Kennedy was about as badly mutilated.
