Lucy B. Fvenson VENICE, Calif. - Lucy Beryl Box Evenson, 82, daughter of prominent Utah pioneers, of 1715 Glynden Ave., Venice, died Friday at the Central Utah Convalescent Center, Orem, of cause s incident to age. she was born Jan. 5, 1890 in S alt Lake City, a daughter of Jesse Williams and Ruth May Fox. She married Edwin Evenson on Jan. 22, 1913 in the Salt Lake Temple and he died several years ago. She was educated in Salt Lake City schools, where she lived until about nine years after her marriage, when they moved to the Los Angeles area where Mr. Evenson was an electrician. In June, 1972 she moved back to Utah. A member of the LDS Church, Mrs. Evenson was Relief Society president, stake missionary and worker in the Los Angeles Temple. Survivors include two sons and three daughters, Raymond Fox Evenson, Provo; Edwin Fox Evenson, Concord, Calif.; Mrs. Lucian (Beryl) Lewis, Livermore, Calif.; Mrs. Serge (Blanche) Clayton, Corona Del Mar, Calif., and Mrs, Maslen (Louise) Cain, Lancaster, Calif.; 29 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters, Lester Fox, Los Angeles, and Frank Fox, Grant Fox, Mrs. Vida Fox Clawson and Mrs. George (Florence) McKay, all of Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Mar Vista Ward Chapel in Venice under the direction of Berg Mortuary, Provo. Burial will be in EnglewoocT Park Cemetery.
