She rift Hay and posse went to Bnll Creek early yesterday morning and succeeded at last in arresting old Harrison Hogan. They ran the steamer Minnie Bay up to bis shanty and threw the electric light rays npon it. Hogan came out to give battle, but. seeing tlie odds, retreated iuzide. The excitement among the Bay's fifty passengers was intense. Hogan's hired man begged him to surrender. The old ran then bared bis breast and asked the Sberia to shoot him. lie had bo friends, bad been beaten out of his wealth, and did not want to be further abused. Finally he surrendered. The' arrest caused a sensation. Hogan had hitherto successfully resisted arrest, giving battle a number of times snd putting the ottfers to night, though he is seventy-five years old.
