Electroraet-Carbide 25-Year Members Honored At Dinner One hundred and seventy active and retired members of the Electro- met and Carbide Power 25-year Club and the management group were gneste of the company at the annual dinner at which new members of the, club were presented with their watches. The dinner was held in the dining: room of the Hotel Ojibway laet evening. Watches were presented by E. HI Mangan. executive vice president of Electro Metallurgical Company and President of Carbide Power Company -who was here to deliver the eveningr's main talk. Mr. Mangan chose as his subject. "The Economic Future of Carbide." S. L. Slater served as toastmaster for the dinner meeting. He introduced H. W. Spring, formerly of the Soo plant and presently assiei- ant to the superintendent of industrial relations at the Sheffield. Alafaama. Electroniet plant: H. A. McPherson, superintendent of the Sauit plant, who welcomed the guests and members to the dinner. O, B.
