Mrs. Nancy Jane (Henderson) Fleming The long and active life of Mrs. Nancy. Jane (Henderson) Fleming, an esteemed resident of the Curry Run district for half a century and of Indiana, for nearly 24 years, died at her home on West Philadelphia street early Monday morning. 3he was a daughter of Samuel and Martha (Anthony) Henderson and was born near Elders Ridge,, July 9, 1846. The Henderson family located, near Shelocta in 1862, and on October 13, 1868, Nancy Jane was united in marriage to David Watson Fleming. Their home Was established near Curry Run Presbyterian church, where Mr. Fleming died on September 7, 1882 Mrs. Fleming continued her residence there until 1912, when she moved to Indiana. She was a member of Curry Run church for 7'1 years, was a Sabbath School teacher for many years and was identified with the various activities of the congregation. Surviving child/en are Mrs. Henry R. Dorr and B. B. Fleming, of White township; Miss Thetta Fleming, J C. Fleming and Mrs. L. E. Miller, of Indiana. Brothers and sisters living are Rev. William J. Henderson, of Glen Gardner, N. J.; J. R. Henderson, of Indiana; S. Clark Henderson, of Kent; Mrs. Julia Cunningham, of Armstrong township, and Mrs. Elizabeth Wiggins, of Indiana. Funeral services were conducted at her late home this afternoon by Rev. John Walker, pastor of Curry Run church, and burial was made in the church cemetery.
