JOHN V. HELMAX Of 1527 Sixth awnut? died at his residence Rt 2:25 p. m. after an illness of two months. Mr. Helmsu was born Aug. 14. 1S73 in Gallium, a son of James C and Sara (Shank) Hel-man. His first wile, Annie (Rhodes) Helman, died April 6, Surviving are his second wife, Effie M. Wood Ruppert Helman; two children, Mrs. Ernest B. Pheasant of Altoona, one son Craig K. Helman of Cfcarleroi, Pa.: one sister Mrs. Susan Olsen of Gallitrin. and one brother, Ross of Piicairn, sis grandchildren and five .crva? -grandchildren; a stejvson. Elmer Edwards of Altoona. Mr. Helman w as a lvtired conductor of the Pennsylvania Railroad of the Pittsburg division, retiring Sept. 1940. He was a member of the Faith Tabernac'.e.
