Smith Familly Reunion WAYMART, Aug. 14. The Smith family reunion was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gaston Seely, of Waymart. on Saturday. August 12 at 10.30 a. m. The fete was held In honor of Sarah E. - Smith, widow of the late Horace Minor, oldest sur viving member of the Smith family. who is 79 years of age, despite which she is still active . and retains her mental faculties to a remarkable de gree. The features of the day were addresses by Rev. Ivan L. Snyder, pastor of tne M. E. church, and Rev, Arthur G. Tippet, pastor of the First Baptist church. Mouth organ selec tion and song, "How do you do," by Lynn Oakley; duet by Leon and Le - nore Oakley and Grace .Fenrick; song By Naomi smith; oral reading by Mrs. George Fenrick, after which prayer by tne pastors roiiowed. At l. so, a bounteous chicken dinner was served by the members of the Ladies' Aid so clety In the parlors of the M. E. church. The officers of the reunion were: Leon Smith, president; Anna Qunsauis, secretary; Frame smitn, treasurer. Owen; Mrs. Mabel White, and Mrs. O. P. Gunsauls, of Carbondale: - Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Gunsauls, Mrs. Alma Molten, Miss Ruth Hill and Mrs. C. W. Bolten, of Scranton; Mr. and Mrs, Charles Goodell, children Mer - rlet and Edgar, Mrs. W. W. Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smith and daughter Helen, of Herrlck Center; Mr. and Mrs. Austin Roney and Mrs. George Fenrick and children, Earl and Grace, of Forest City; Mr. and Mrs. Grant Oakley and children, Le nore, Leon, Donald and Charles and G..
