Nat. Henchman Davis II vacation Sep 1910
Mr. and Mrs. Nat Henchman Davis and Miss Louise Davis are still at Saranac, where they have spent the summer, and they will fly no home-coming signal. The Aoirondacks are at their best in the au tumn and it Is there that the Sloans and Reggie Vanderbllts and various others of the New York smart set open their delight- rul camps on tbe Upper St Regis Lakes and nil their "cabins" with house parties. Some of the camps have houses in which only bachelors are stowed away, with others for the matrons and maids, and- the boat bouses, built out over the. water, are marvels of ingenious methods of inducing idleness. The Vanderbllt camo is mode'ed after a Japanese estate, the minis tnr gardens being manufactured "to taste.'
