Ridgefield The Ridgebury Congregational church was the setting Sept. 2 the wedding of Miss Anaphe Warder Ridgeway and Lewis Jones Evans. Officiating at the double ring ceremony were the Rev. Hugh Shields, pastor of church, and the Rev. Aaron Manderbach, rector of St. Stephen's Episcopal church. The bride is a daughter of Elizabeth Ridgeway of the Nash apartments on Main street and Group Capt. Moray V. Ridgeway. RAF retired, of Bermuda, and Mr. Evans is a son of Dr. Mrs. Harry Evans of Continental drive. Douglas Ridgeway of Hartford escorted his sister and gave in marriage. She wore a ballet- length gown of white lace, and elbow-length illusion veil caught into a pearl tiara.
