Ridgefield The Ridgebury Congregational church was the setting Sept. 2 the wedding of Miss Anaphe Warder Ridgeway and Lewis Jones Evans. Officiating at the double ring ceremony were the Rev. Hugh Shields, pastor of church, and the Rev. Aaron Manderbach, rector of St. Stephen's Episcopal church. The bride is a daughter of Elizabeth Ridgeway of the Nash apartments on Main street and Group Capt. Moray V. Ridgeway. RAF retired, of Bermuda, and Mr. Evans is a son of Dr. Mrs. Harry Evans of Continental drive. Douglas Ridgeway of Hartford escorted his sister and gave in marriage. She wore a ballet- length gown of white lace, and elbow-length illusion veil caught into a pearl tiara. She carried family heirloom prayer book, used by three generations of family. co%'ered with a spray orchids and greens. Miss Marion Brown was maid of honor, and Miss V i r Ridgeway. the bride's younger sister, was bridesmaid. Robert Karris of DeRuyter, N. Y., sest man. A reception followed in the Elms inn. After a wedding trip the couple will make their n Danbury. where the bridegroom is employed at the National Semiconductor company. He a graduate of the Northwood school at the Lake Placid club and from the State University lew York in Morrisville. Mrs. Evans has been attending the local high school.
