Carleton and St. Olaf Win . By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS St. Cloud State, undefeated in the Minnesota College Conference, won both games of a double header with Bemidji State here Saturday. Lefty Vern Deering shut out Bemidji 6-0 on three hits in the second contest, striking out eight batters and yielding only one walk. Centerfielder Bob Streetar belted three singles and a double, driving in three runs, for St. Cloud's 12-2 victory in the opener. In Winona, Loras batters pound «d on two Winona State pitchers for 14 hits as the lowans won, 10-1. Dick Winter pitched a two- hitter for Loras, struck out six batters and walked one. Carleton blanked Ripon 5-0 at Northfield. In another Midwest Conference game there, St. Olaf topped Ripon 9-3. Ron Riedberger and Bob Clark pitched low-hit shutouts as Concordia defeated North Dakota Ag ricultural College in Fargo, 10-0 and 3-0, in Steri Gorman League competition.
