BURNS, NATIVE OF COUNTY, DIES Mrs. Mary Hardee Burns, 67, lifetime resident of Brown County who made her home on Route 4 north of Brownwood, died at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday in a local rest home following Illness of 18 months. Funeral services will be held 2'30 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Davis-Morri» Funeral Home with Rev. Elvis BUhop officiating. Burial will be in the Btaley Cenw tery near the airport. Mrs. Burn*, the former Mary J. Hardee, was born Jan. 26, 1885, in Brown County. She was a granddaughter of Welcome W. Chandler, first white settler of Brown County- Surviving are two brothers, C. A. Herdee of Brownwood and F. W. Hardee of Colorado City, and three sister*, Mr». B- L. White of and Mn. A. M. Pavl«, both of Brownwood.
