on come on the operated Malcolm M. Rozier Succumbs Malcolm McRee Rozier, 70, died Saturday afternoon at his home here. He suffered a coronary thrombosis. Funeral services were held from the home Sunday afternoon at four o'clock and interment followed in Meadowbrook cemetery. Conducting services were Rev. Edgar Fisher, former pastor of Chestnut Street Methodist church and now of Raleigh, and Rev. IT. W. Baucbm. Mr. Rozier had been a semi-invalid for three years. He was a life-long resident of Lumbcrton, the son of the late Robert Adams and Mary Eliza Rozier. For 40 years, he operated a store in Lumberton after being agent for Ihe Farmers Alliance, old-time farm co-op. Since his retirement more than a decade ago he has operated extensive farms in the county. Mr. Rozier served for three terms as town commissioner. Surviving are Mr. Rozicr's wife, Iho former Miss Belle Edmund; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Rowan of Lumberton and Mrs. Anita (J. D.) Whiescnhont Florence, S. C.; two sisters, Mrs. N. P. Andrews of Lumberton Mrs. E. H. "Burnham of Mullins, C.; a grandson, Malcolm Rowan; a grand daughter, Mary Anita Whiesenhont. Active pall bearers were Clyde Rozier, Maurice Rozier, M. M. 1 ford, Howard Cooper, R. S. Jack Hugging, M. C. Thompson, L. Skinner, Jr. Honorary pall bearers were: C. M. Barker, H. M. Beasley, F. K. Biggs, Sr., Ernest Fleishman, Dr. A. G. Ford. L. E.
