Sutton, of 407 Eighth street, tliia . city, was united In marriage with I Staff Sergeant Joseph Weber, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Weber of 2001 First avenue, this city, at St. j Mary's Catholic church on Thurs- i day morning. February 17, the : solemn double ring ceremony be-' ing performed by the pastor, Rev. , Father Wagner. Miss Vivian 'Sutton as brides maid was her sister's only at- j tendant and Wilbur G. Beck, I uncle of the bride, acted as ; groomsnwn. The bride was lovely 1 , in a light blue suit with match- J ing accessories and carried a bou- . quet of yellow rose buds, while i the bridesmaid was attired in a teal suit with white accessories j and wore a corsage of white gar-1 denias. The church was. well filled with ! many friends of the happy couple, j Following the ceremony the party! retired to the vDutch Kitchen j where a wedding breakfast was j served. Mrs. Weber was graduated from Altoona High school in the class j of 1940 and is employed by the Sylvania Products Co. in this city. Sergeant Weber was graduated from Altoona High school in ths class of 1936 and prior to entering the service was employed as a brakeman on the Maryland division of the Pennsylvania Railroad company. He has been in the V. S. army for the past 21 months and is at present stationed at a camp in Louisiana, to which point he is returning this week. Mrs. Weber will reside with her parents for the present Begin Registration For Nurse's Aides Registrations for a daytime class of nurse's aides who are to be trained at the Mercy hospital nil! begin this afternoon in the Red Cross headquarters at 1315-17 Twelfth avenue. Registrations will be accepted from 2 until 5 o'clock from today until Friday. Women between the ages of 13 and 50 are urged to enroll. Those who have already given their names are asked to come in and fill the official application and to receive information that will be needed. The committee will also accept applications on Wednesday evening from 7:30 until 9 o'clock.
