j CHILD HELD AT PITCHER, OKLA., NOT 3 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER OF MRS. TURNER is Picher, Okla., Nov. 17.—"This not my child," said Mrs. Lynn Turner, of Scott county, Arkansas, when she visited the home of Mrs. H. S. ,Wells here last night in hope that the child was her 3-year-old daughter, Pearl, who disappeared from her mountain home several weeks ago The little girl, giving the name of Elizabeth Holman, faced the questioning mother without a glance of recognition and replied to her, "I don't know you." Sheriff Charles Allen of Scott county, who accompanied the mother here, declared that he placed little credence in the story of the Chalmers Ferguson "the hermit poet," that the missing child was the same held here. He said .the search would be taken up afresh today through the mountainous district in the vicinity of the Turner .home.
