AcShy Area Ions Edward Kott of Ashley sub mitted to surgery last Friday at DeKalb Memorial. His room is 218. Tim Musser, David Tompkins and Dick Lepley reported for military physicals at Indianapolis recently. The Richard Gillespies of Val paraiso and the Hildon Nodes - tine family of Kongo were Saturday callers of the Dick Lepley's. Jerry Bowman of east of Ash ley fell and broke his leg while playing ball Wednesday eve. He" was taken to Parkview Memorial hospital, Fort Wayne. Jerry had injured the leg several years ago and has since worn a plate. The break was in that area. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wilder are the parents of of son, Jason Thomas, 6 lbs., 6 oz., born June 15 at Cameron hospital, Angola. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wilder and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Thomas. Elizabeth Lepley daughter of Mr. and Mrs. DeWayne Lepley, was taken to Robert Long hospital, Indianapolis, Tuesday for a check on her heart condition. She required no treatment at this time. Quest speaker for evening services June 29 at the Ashley Church of God will be Rev. Forrest Carlson of Indianapolis. The public is invited. Edith Firestone submitted to surgery at DeKalb Memorial, Auburn, Monday. . Ross Gramling is a medical patient at DeKalb Memorial. The Carl Gramlings are hospitalized at DeKalb Memorial with injuries suffered in an auto accident. Guy Lepley is improving. His right leg was removed from traction. Dola Neidig is home after being hospitalized at Fort Wayne. Weekend guests were her grand' daughter and husband, the Roger Aldreds of Warren. She also received word of the birth of a great granddaughter, Kelly Kay, June 19, to Mr. and Mrs. Dan Leas of Fort Wayne. ;Miss Linda Elworth became the bride of Tim Musser June 22 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Angola. The Little League A Team won over Stroh Monday eve 8 - 6. Pitching for Ashley was Eric Hinman and Bill McDonald, catching was Jeff Conrad and Joe Bowerman. Weekend guests of the Kenneth Kistlers were the James L. Parkers of Springfield, 111, Sam Parker of Hillsdale, Mich., the Frank Boners of Misawaka, John Moyes of Angola, Carolyn . Kistler of Fort Wayne. All attended the wedding of Miss Pamela Kay Lockwood and Thomas Kistler at the Whetstone Church of Christ at Anderson. Sunday afternoon gu ests were the Ross Kitslers of South Bend and the Walker Kellys of Waterloo and the Hi - ber Leas' of Hudson. Mrs. Cinnie Parker of Auburn is a house guest of the Dick Lepleys. The Freeman Tuttle.8 attended the wedding of their granddaughter, Bonita Sue Tuttle and Ronald Martin at the First United Methodist church, Waterloo June 20 at 7:30 p.m. The couple will reside at Fort Knox, Ky., where the groom will be stationed. He recently returned from Vietnam. Dorothy Potts and Joyce Conrad are on a 10 day trip in California. Troop 280 The Girl Scouts of Troop 280, Hudson, met June 16 at the Johnson home.
