Couple Wed in Overisel Mr. and Mrs. Jason Blauwkamp A candlelight double ring ceremony united MLSS Alida Joanne Dykhuis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs William A Dykhuus, route 3. Holland, and Jason Blauwkamp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry J Blauwkamp, route 1, Xeeland, in marriage on June 11 at the Overisel Christian Re- iormed Church. The Rev. Laverne K Tanis of New Jersey, hrolher-m-law of the bride, officiated at the H p m. ceremony. Appropriate wedding m u s i c was provided by Mr.s Arthur ])khuis Miss Joanne Uykstra was .soloist. Wearing a floor-length sheath gown of Mlk organza over taf- ieta with lace appliques at the neckline, long sleeves pointed at the wrists, and lace panels on the .skirt, the biide was escorted to the a l t a r by her father. Her m a t c h i n g headpiece of lace appliques and seed pearls held an elbow-length veil and she carried a bouquet of white orchids, lilies of the valley and ivy on a white Bible. Miss Sharon Chittenden, maid of honor, was dressed in a rose t a f f e t a floor-length gown with a deep rose bow and panels of satin at the back. Simon Blauwkamp, brother of the groorn, acted as best man and David Blauwkamp, brother of the groom, and G e o | Kuipers. assisted as ushers. F'or her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Dykhuis wore a turquoise brocade sheath with white accessories and the mother ol the groom was attired in a pink lace, two-piece dre-ss with white accessories. Both wore corsages of white carnations and pink sweetheart roses A reception for IfiO guests was held in the church parlors. Reception attendants included Judy and Helen Blauwkamp, Marilyn Timmer, Sharon Zoet, Marian Brinkhuis, waitresses; Janice Hecht and Mary Ann De Fouw at the punch bowl; Carol De Went, Lora Berkom- 1 pas, Alice Tolsma in the gift room and Ruth Dykhuis passing 1 the guest book.
