Five Generations Are Present at Shower lor Elena Kay McGowan Mr. and Mrs. M, Olson of MorrF son gave a shower for their niece, Elena Kay, infant daughter of Mrs. Gladys McGowan, on Tuesday afternoon. The winners in the grtme of "50" were Mrs. Harry*' Howe, high spore, and Miss Verna Olson, consolation prize. They presented their prizes to Mrs. McGowan. who also received many other beautiful gifts. Lunch was served to 30 guests. Mrs. Susanna Howe. ; 91, one of Morrison's oldest citizens^ great great grandmother of Elena Kaiy, was one of the guests and she headed the group of live generations present lor event. The five generations were Mrs. Howe, great great grandmother; Mis. Clara Howe, jrreai grandmother; Mrs. Clarence Olson, grandmother; Mrs. Gladys Olson McGowan. mother, and Elena Kay. Mrs. Phobe Knox of MiHdegeville and Mrs. Oliver Diehl of Morrison, great great aunts, were also present. Others present were Mrs. Elnora Engelkens, Mrs. Amber Batsema, Mrs. Clarence Howe and son Allen, Mrs. Bill Port and daughter Bar- >ara, Mr. and Mr.y. Osc»r Nelson, Miss Fern Peterson. Mrs. Fred Peterson. Mrs. Freda Olson, Frank Olson. Miss Anna Gulland, Mrs Harry Howe of Morrison; Mrs Virgil Rhode o! Round Grove; Mr*. OrvilU a*e>! B*Y, Mrs. Florence Knox and nlec* Phyllis.
