At 6 Per Cent. Opp. Court House MIXED UP Bennetts and Benners Inextricably Inextricably Entwined- Brown, Alias Oilier, Waiting theTurn of Neil's Injuries." - There is a man named Bcnncr on the Southslde and a man named Bennett on the Northside. On account of a difficulty in the martial relations of the former the latter was brought to jail last evening and some transactions of unpleasant nature will be aired in the courts. Benner ho.d nothing particular particular against John G. Bennett, nnd had he known the outcome might not have sent the police over on North Sixth street in such hot haste last night. According to his story Ben- ncr's wife had left him and he wanted her liack. Ho supposed she was witli her sister, Rosa Martlndale. who' was a housekeeper for Bennett, and after spending a part of the night in fruitless fruitless search for her sent Sergeant Morris Morris and Officer Costello to search the Bennett home. The officers did not find Mrs. Bcnncr but. returned with Bennett and Kosc Martindnlc who were held on an ugly charge. Bennett also bus n wife nnil Bonnor. according to the Mn.rtincl.nlo woman, has had live of them. But neither lias had good luck In retaining them. Bennett says ho lias line! n. divorce from his wife but his wil'c, who also was instrumental instrumental in having the house searched, says he has not.
