Regina Drasher Regina "Jean" Drasher, 76, of R.R. 1, Box 1700, Drums, died Friday evening at 6:16 p.m. at Hazleton General Hospital, following an illness of one month. Born in Hazleton, Oct. 18, 1921, she was the daughter of the late William and Regina (Trentley) Billig, and spent all of her adult life in Drums. A retired waitress, she last worked for Tom's Country Kitchen in Conyngham. She had earlier been employed by the Shady Rest Restaurant and Mussari's Restaurant, both formerly located in the valley. She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, St. Johns. Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, G. Norman Drasher; an infant daughter (unnamed), who died at birth; a granddaughter, Amy; a sister, Lyle Irene Parker; and her companion of 27 years, Franklin Pierce "Bucky" Buckman. Surviving are sons, Norman W., New Oxford, Pa.; Eugene G., Drums, and Raymond A., Palm Dale, Calif.; a daughter, Regina R. Drasher, Drums; a sister, Mrs. James (Margaret) Der-ryberry, Frankfurt, Ky.; 14 grandchildren, and five greatgrandchildren. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the Mark S. Harman Funeral Home (East), Butler Road, Drums. The Rev. William Snyder will officiate. Burial will be in the St. John's Cemetery, St. Johns. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
