. I children, 35 and Lillie Hawkins Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Hawkins of Rt. 1, Ore City, were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Sand Hill Baptist Church with Rev. J. C. Henderson and Rev. Balford Adams officiating. Burial was in Sand Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ronnie Camp, Bobby Stephens, Danny Berry, James Cox, Ray M. Gilbert, Joe Moore. Mrs. Hawkins died Thursday at 7:45 p.m. in Gilmer Hospital of a lenglhy illness at the age of 79 years, 11 months, and 13 days. She was a lifetime resident of Upshur County. She was a member of the Sand Hill Baptist Church. Survivors are two sons, Abner Hawkins of Gilmer and V. T. Hawkins of Dallas: five daughters, Mrs. Foy McClendon of Ore City, Mrs. Jack Still of Paris, Mrs. W. J. Casey of Gilmer, Mrs. David Black of Mesquife and Mrs. James McCratic of Diana; six brothers, Acie Hill, J. B. Hill, Hie-hard Hill and Grover Hill all of Gilmer, Parker Hill of Gladewater and Clem Hill of Lone Star: five sisters, Mrs, Clyde Leard of Gilmer, Mrs. Neva Covin of Houston, Mrs. Hawkins of Gilmer. Flossie Russell o f I Houston and Mrs. Benton Jones of Diana; 32 grand- Ruby Mrs. great grand- a number of I great, great grandchildren. ! Loyd Funeral Home wa in charge of arrangements.
